Youth
A welcoming Sunday evening space for young people.
Youth is for young people of secondary school age. It is open, friendly, and relaxed, with space to hang out, make friends, ask questions, and explore faith at your own pace.
We meet on Sunday evenings at Millbrook Community Centre from 6:30-8:00pm. It is free to come along, and friends are very welcome too.
First time
Come once and see how it feels.
If you are visiting to see if Youth is for you, we just need parent permission and emergency contact details. If you keep coming, we will ask for a registration form.
The evening
Sign in, grab a snack, and settle in.
Youth begins with a warm welcome from the leaders, signing in, and snacks. There is informal time to chat, catch up with friends, and get to know new people.
For young people
You are welcome here.
You do not need to know lots about church, the Bible, or Christianity to come along. You can ask questions, make friends, have fun, and explore faith at your own pace.
Friends
Friends are welcome to come too.
We just need parent permission and emergency contact details for anyone visiting for the first time.
What usually happens
Snacks, games, conversation, and practical faith.
Every night has space to connect and have fun, with leaders present to help everyone feel included. Teaching is practical and interactive, so young people with different abilities and confidence levels can take part.
Space to hang out, chat, build friendships, and get to know new people.
Games are part of the evening and are often woven into the session.
We learn about ourselves, God, and the Bible in practical ways.
Alongside Sunday evenings, there are regular outings and trips during the year.
If you are new
You do not have to arrive already knowing people.
Lots of people come for the first time without knowing anyone. Our leaders and young people are friendly and will help you feel welcome.
You are also welcome if you have never been to church before. Youth is open to everyone, whether faith feels familiar, new, or something you are still curious about.
For parents and carers
Safety and care matter to us.
All youth leaders are AccessNI checked and have relevant safeguarding training. We have a designated safeguarding team in place, and your young person’s safety is our highest priority.
We ask for parent permission and emergency contact details when a young person visits for the first time.
Next step
Come along and try it out.
If you have a question or would like to check anything before coming, Lucy would be happy to help. You can also keep an eye on our social media for updates about youth nights, outings, and trips.
