Men's Ministry
A relaxed space for men to connect.
Men's Ministry is a monthly gathering for men aged 18+ connected to Millbrook.
It is a simple space to socialise, build friendships, encourage one another, and grow in faith together. Some evenings are very informal, while others include a meal, activity, or someone sharing part of their story.
Who it is for
Open to men aged 18 and over.
You do not need to be a church member to come along. Men's Ministry is open to men connected to Millbrook, including those who are new or still finding their feet.
When
Usually once a month.
We often meet on the first Thursday evening of the month, though dates and activities can vary. Current details are shared through church notices and social media.
First time
A good way to get to know other men.
If you are new, one of the more informal evenings can be a helpful first step. Come for coffee, a game, a chat, or an activity that interests you.
What happens
Chat, food, games, stories, and support.
Each month can look a little different. The aim is simple: create a relaxed environment where men can chat, laugh, get to know one another, and be encouraged.
Informal evenings with space to talk and build friendships.
Board game nights, sports events, meals out, and other social gatherings.
Occasional testimony nights and space for encouragement, discipleship, and support.
If you are unsure
It is normal for the first time to feel daunting.
The team are approachable and understand what it is like to walk into something new. You are welcome to start with an informal evening and settle in at your own pace.
