Who We Are

The story, values, people, and community heart of Millbrook Church.

Who we are

People, not a building.

Millbrook is a relational, warm, multi-generational church family in Larne. We gather for worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and shared life together.

Loving God

We gather around Jesus.

We want worship, prayer, Scripture, and the work of the Holy Spirit to shape who we are becoming.

Loving each other

We are a church family.

From newborns to retired people, our services are a place for all ages. We want people to be known, valued, and cared for.

Loving our community

Faith is lived out locally.

We seek to serve on doorsteps, in schools and workplaces, at the football club, and across the wider community.

Our team

Pastoral team.

Our pastoral team helps guide the spiritual life of Millbrook across teaching, community work, youth, students, and everyday care.

Millbrook today

Warm, contemporary, biblical, and relational.

Millbrook has space for children, youth, women, men, and intergenerational worship. Sundays are relaxed and people-focused, with biblical teaching and a desire to help people follow Jesus in everyday life.

We partner with local charities, councils, and community groups so our presence in the community is responsive, informed, and useful.

Sunday worship

We gather as one church family for worship, prayer, and teaching.

Shared life

Meals, conversation, groups, children, youth, and everyday care all matter to us.

Community care

We care about the flourishing, mental health, and physical wellbeing of the wider area.

Shared leadership

Responsibility carried together.

Leadership at Millbrook is shared across practical, spiritual, worship, safeguarding, and ministry responsibilities.

Trustees and stewards

Elected by the congregation, they hold responsibility for organisational and financial decisions.

Pastoral team

They help guide the spiritual dimension of church life, teaching, pastoral care, youth, students, and community work.

Praise band and prayer

Each week, dedicated volunteers lead us in worship and prayer as part of our shared Sunday gathering.

Ministry leaders

Children’s work, youth, homegroups, community care, meals, safeguarding, and practical service are carried by many faithful people.

Our story

A fresh start that grew into a church family.

Millbrook began with a desire for a fresh start and a new church in the Larne area. Over time, children’s work, Sunday worship, and a growing church family took shape.

2003

A fresh desire

God began to plant a desire in people’s hearts for a new church in Larne.

Eli’s Toyshop

Children’s work

A children’s work began in the local leisure centre and quickly became part of a growing community.

Sunday worship

A church family

The work developed into a regular Sunday service and Sunday School, with contemporary worship and Bible teaching.

2012 to today

Community centre

Millbrook relocated to Millbrook Community Centre in January 2012, where we continue to gather, grow, and serve today.

If you are new

You do not need to arrive with everything sorted.

You do not need your theology sorted, your life perfectly put together, or a traditional church background to sit at the table here. You can belong, share a meal, and join honest conversation as you are.

We are still learning, growing, and becoming the church God is calling us to be.
