Creche
A safe, friendly space for little ones during the service.
Creche is for children aged 0-4, until they move to Sunday School when they start Primary 1.
It is available during the Sunday service in the Pool Room. Children are normally supervised by two adults on a rota, sometimes with a young person helping too. On First Breakfast mornings, creche is parent-led.
For parents
You can stay if it helps.
Parents are welcome to stay with their child while they settle. The sermon is streamed through speakers in the room, so you do not have to miss everything if your child needs you nearby.
If your child needs you
We will come and get you.
If a child becomes unsettled, needs the toilet, or needs a nappy changed, someone from creche will come and get their parent or carer.
First time
Ask when you arrive.
There is no formal check-in process at the moment. If you are visiting, someone can help you find the Pool Room and meet the people serving in creche that morning.
What usually happens
Play, crafts, books, and space to settle.
Creche gives children a welcoming place to play while parents and carers are able to be fully present in the service.
There are toys for a range of ages, along with puzzles, books, colouring in, and stickers.
We often do simple crafts, dancing, and games towards the end of the morning.
There are seats around the side of the room if you would like to stay for a while.
If you are visiting
We know it can feel like a big step.
Leaving a young child somewhere new can feel daunting. Creche is there to help Sundays feel easier for families, while giving children a safe place to have fun with peers and leaders.
You can stay for as long as you need to, or keep your child with you in the service. There is no pressure.

Creche is supervised by adults on a rota, with a young person helper at times. We want children to be cared for well and parents to feel confident about the space.
