Young Adults

A relaxed midweek gathering for young adults aged 18-35 to share food, study the Bible, ask questions, and pray together.

Young Adults

Food, friendship, questions, and faith.

Young Adults is a weekly Wednesday evening gathering for people aged 18-35.

We meet in Lucy and Nick's home to share dinner, read the Bible, talk honestly, support one another, and pray together. It is relaxed, social, informal, and open to anyone.

You do not need to be a church member, know lots about the Bible, or have faith fully figured out. You are welcome to come, listen, ask questions, and take things at your own pace.

Who it is for

Young adults aged 18-35.

The group includes people in different stages of life. Some are working, studying, exploring faith, growing in faith, or simply looking for a place to belong.

When

Wednesday evenings each week.

We meet weekly at Lucy and Nick's house. Because it is in a home, it helps to get in touch with Lucy first so she can share the address and make sure there is enough food.

First time?

Come on your own or with someone else.

It is completely fine if you do not know anyone, have not been to church before, or cannot come every week. The group is relaxed and will help you settle in.

What usually happens

We begin around the table.

The evening starts with dinner and time to chat about the week. After that, there is usually tea, coffee, and something sweet while we read the Bible together.

Shared meal

Food helps the evening feel natural and gives people time to catch up before the discussion begins.

Bible discussion

We usually follow a series or book of the Bible, with space for questions, thoughts, and honest conversation.

Prayer

We normally finish by praying together. There is no pressure to pray out loud or share anything you would rather keep private.

Why we gather

A place to grow and not do life alone.

We hope Young Adults is a place of healthy community: somewhere people can build friendships, ask honest questions, learn more about God, and support one another in the journey of faith.

As people get to know one another, we also help each other notice gifts, skills, and ways to serve across the life of the church and community.

If you are unsure

You do not have to have it all figured out.

There is no judgement and no knowledge level needed to come along. We spend a lot of time asking questions, working things out together, and learning along the way.
